Common questions
Can I pay by invoice or purchase order?
Yes. Schools can request an invoice at checkout. We'll email a tax invoice to your nominated billing contact (usually the business manager or bursar) and you can pay by bank transfer (BECS) or credit card. Your ABN and school address will appear on the invoice for your records.
What happens when my free carnival is used?
You'll see a prompt to upgrade when you try to create a second carnival for the year. Your data and results from the free carnival are always retained regardless of plan.
What counts as a carnival?
A carnival is one event day. For example, your cross country, your athletics day, and your swimming carnival are three separate carnivals. The free plan covers one of these per calendar year.
Do parents need to pay or download anything?
No. The parent live feed is a simple web page they open on any device. No app download, no account, no cost to parents. You share the link and they open it.
Can I upgrade from Standard to Premium mid-subscription?
Yes. Upgrading from Standard to Premium takes effect immediately. Stripe automatically calculates a prorated charge for the remaining days in your current billing period, so you only pay the difference for the time left. There is no need to cancel and resubscribe.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
Your data is retained for 12 months after cancellation so you can export it. After that it is permanently deleted. You own your data.
Is it suitable for Little Athletics clubs?
Yes. MySportsDay supports birth-year based age groups (U8, U9 through U17), club affiliations instead of houses, and season management across multiple meets. The marshal screen and parent feed work identically.
Do you offer a discount for multiple carnivals in the same school?
The Standard and Premium plans already cover unlimited carnivals. Running three events per year is included at no extra cost. Contact us if you have an unusual situation.
